Fascinating Face

I am no a good photographer. 20 photos I keep 2 or 3.

I am try to this world with the eye of my soul. My camera help.

I am on a study of Faces. I am no good at emotion, but so far...

This my time leaving in Ukraine a few year ago. I visit Kiev, Kharkiv, Odessa and Lviv first time. I will be honest on this photo. I see this beautiful lady's "buns"...my eye see to the painting behind. When she look back her friend remain oblivious, at that moment the line of vision (from man to the eyes of the girl, directing the vision to me) and the background from paintings made this moment in Ukraine, Odessa, carve onto my life. I hope these two are safe. Stay out of trouble!

If someday you find this, I want to say Ukranian are beautiful, strong, hardworking, misunderstand. Thank you for show me what life is your eyes!

This was difficult. I was doing babysit work for my friend who has a child of age 3. I watch him eat. He was eating pasta and sausage. Why give 3 year old a pasta? Three year olds need baby food!!!! No pasta! No icecream! Baby food!!!!

I watch this child eat. I then scare him with a "BOO!"...so he doesn't choke on food.

...by the way he finish his pasta!

This was achieved during my recent journey to Marrakech. I walk around the back alles of the city and find old lady fall asleep by the side road. Her hand was stretch out and she was ask for help.

I stand and watch her sleep, awake, dreaming, hope, asking. Her closed eyes and energy speak to me. I see the story on her face. I feel the emotion. I go down close; I take photo. Do you feel what I feel?

From one world to next. One from country to next. People have faces. I find faces alway hold a secret. It one thing we all share. No matter how we hide, how we lie, how we forget what deep inside...it will always show on the face. This one thing I see on all people face...show me there is good in all of us, in our soul.

Sometimes I see this goodness from people eyes. Sometimes I see it on their lip. Sometimes on their face. But it's the same goodness...virtue...we are one family.

I am not sure if i explain correct. We share something divine in us. On my side it is no less on your side. Your divine is no more to my divine. We are equal divine. Face show me the divine.

I end with a face of contentment, of family love, of happiness, of purpose, of hardship and acceptance, of respect for life, and humility.
