Aknaniak

Aknaniak is my new series, and I am delighted to share the catalog and some background about the works and other issues.

I have always been very prolific because I have felt connected to an infinite source of creative energy, and making art connects me with myself on many levels and with the invisible worlds that surround us, so the magic and enthusiasm are constant.
I have so many works that I have never shared and that remain archived while I create new ones -so what I share is very little.

Since I entered the world of NFTs, I have gone through many stages and many good and bad things. I recently decided to abandon it completely because I found it unbearable for multiple reasons, but then I changed my perspective and realized that I should use it in my own way—and abandon Twitter NFT and the drama, of course :D. So, I started to see the platforms as spaces where I could share much more of my work, since you can share it in high quality—something that doesn't happen on social media. My interest is not so much in selling NFTs as it is in sharing my work in the best way possible, as well as registering and authenticating it on the blockchain.
So I'll be sharing a lot more art on Tezos platforms.

Regarding this series, I must say that it has been a magical, profound, and enriching journey. I am experiencing life more intensely and deeply than ever before, and art is a fundamental part of that.

I'm working a lot with laser prints and photos taken with my phone and as I mention in the catalog:
"In this series, I have used pink paper stained with ink and old white paper. Each work has been made with a self-portrait as a base, with its unique energy and way of expressing itself through the use of various materials such as water-based and alcohol-based ink, metallic markers, gold pigmented ink, metallic pens, highlighters, scraps of paper, fire, dry tempera, watercolor, glue, and paintbrushes."

So,
Here's the cover—I always find all this design stuff really interesting and I enjoy it a lot.

Some pages from the catalog

and the link here so you can see them all

I will be sharing the works in upcoming posts, one by one, and delving deeper into them.

Cheers!
