Life update and intentional living..
It’s been a while since I last accessed this account. You know that moment when you completely give up hope because you lost access to the email that holds your private key? Yeah, fun times. But guess what? I’m back! Somehow, I managed to track down my private keys, and now I feel like I just cracked the Da Vinci Code haha..
So yeah, it’s been almost a year. A lot has happened. Some wins, some failures (okay, a lot of failures), and some heartbreaks, mainly losing a cat, which was the worst. You know seasons changed, life kept moving, and I just tried to keep up.
Looking back at the past few months, I gotta say, it’s been a rollercoaster, but a pretty rewarding one.
Intentional living and stuff of first world folks..
First off, I started living a more sustainable lifestyle, and not in a trendy, “look at me saving the planet” kind of way. I just became really intentional with my choices, like food, clothes, even movies (yes, I now avoid unnecessary waste in my Netflix choices). A French client I worked with, who’s all about zero waste, kind of influenced me, and now I’m deep in the eco-friendly life. I grow my own food, compost my biodegradable waste, and do my best to avoid single-use plastic. Basically, I’m one step away from living in the woods and talking to plants (seriously) ha!
Secondly, I built a WordPress site to showcase my services such as social media management, book marketing, branding design, all that stuff. Do I do all of it myself? Nope. I outsource a lot to my friends because why not. Right now, I only have one client, but hey, progress is progress. I know it’ll pick up eventually. Patience is key... or so they say.
Lastly, the coolest things I did was working with an Australian nonprofit on digital marketing. Seeing their social media grow and knowing I had something to do with it? Super satisfying.
Somehow, I Didn’t Completely Lose My Mind
Between personal projects, client requests, and never-ending deadlines, life got hectic. But somehow, I managed to pull through without losing my sanity. Well, most of it.
The Next Big Thing..
This year, I’m diving into the world of YouTube to document my animal rescue efforts. The goal is to educate pet owners about the importance of vaccinations and spaying/neutering. Stray animal overpopulation is a huge problem, mostly because some people don’t take their pets to the vet, like, ever. Hopefully, the channel will spread awareness and, if I’m lucky, start making some money to help fund my rescue work. Because let’s be real, taking care of animals isn’t cheap.
That’s it for my life update. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some coffee to drink and cats to cuddle.
Enjoy your day, wherever you are. Stay awesome and thanks for reading!
