I forgot what week this is now XD I've been so busy again the past week and even on the weekends after taking care of an almost scam incident at home.
So for this week, I was still in then sketch trap since I am struggling to make time for art in full render. I did try to do a semi-render on this one because I thought it would come out sooo cool!

I like how this semi-render thing worked out OwO it came out really cool and I actually finished this last night while I had a drawing session with my man UwU
It was loosely based on this:

And as for my progression:

I went about with my usual inking technique where I went from the lightest gray just so I can make the shapes and the base of everything. It's always better to start with the midtones, after all

Then I built up my shades and shadows and my man eventually suggested I add in a bit of color as an accent. So I did bt I wanted to make it look like ink still. I did take a while to experiment and see what I wanted to do with the bit of accent I added.

Then I did end up going with really bright red so that it matched the depth of my shading. So this was before I decided to render the spots where there was red. I was supposed to add more streaks but it was getting late and I did have to sleep soon because of work.
I wish I could have added more to it but it looks good as it is now ^^
