in my industry, we have the option to offset rest days in case of sample shipment plus our shift schedule is decided on when we're the most productive. so in my case, i don't do 9 - 5, i have a 6 - 2 and that really works for me because I'm usually sleepy and useless in the afternoon while my assistant works a 10 - 6 shift or later than that because she likes night time. then as for our offsets, on some weeks, we don't get a day off but on some weeks, we can have the entire week off and we're still paid so it's nice ^^ mining has its own rules, in a sense

Interesting ! I didnt know how it works hehhehhe well it looks that it fits well with your clock!! I have a friend that works in a coal mining and he works 4 days and rest other 4 , but it is the full day i guess hehe
oh we also have that option to work 4 days for 12 hours butttttt you'll need some who's willing to have the same schedule as you. I wanted to try that but I currently don't have anyone qualified enough to work this schedule with me so I'm stuck in the 6-2 schedule 🥲
