Glimo Fan art!

Holooooo hallooo! I never expected I'd draw glimo because it wasn't really part of my dragon and creature saga, but I realized it was a turtle so I wanted to make aggressive nomming glimo XD and so I did

I wasn't supposed to post anything today because I was still recovering from such a stressful day at work ;;-;; Butt I had an evening drawing session with my man again so I am very motivated to draw and to finish a drawing because I have my moral support and my personal art critique.

As for my progression shots

So I started with the big nom XD I really went straight for it because I have this obsession with nomming turtles and I will probably never stop watching cute vids like that XD

At some point I did end up doing the background first because I couldn't figure out how to shade the turtle since I have never drawn a turtle before and this is my first turtle ever XD I did look at glimo's color scheme that the color matches, I hope.

Then I worked on my shading, the nom, the strawberry and a bit of the highlights. I am still bothered that such a detailed turtle took me 3 hours but I really loved the result of those excruciating hours. I rarely take that long on a single piece. I did add a bit of something to the background because as is did look flat. So I did add a bit of orange and white to give the walls some dimention. And that's about it XD

It is now almost midnight and I still can't fall asleep yet because of the strong ass coffee I had before leaving work. I regret it a little, sure. But at least I am productive and I like that XD Thank you for stopping by though!
