Air elemental fan art

Hello hello and I am back with some more splinterlands art, though I'd call everything I do drawing practice recently since I'm trying to get my hands used to digital a lot more these days.
So I did an air elemental this time and this has been on my list of cards to draw for a really long time now. I just had a hard time figuring out what to draw. But when I finally figured out what to draw, the problem became the execution 🤣🤣🤣

Duration: 3 hours
software: gopaint

So I think I should have done a guy for this because the card looks masculine but since it's air, who's to know what it's gender is. Plus the hair gives it a better mysterious effect so I opted for lady 🤣

So for my progression:

I initially wanted to make it more on the blue-royal blue side but then the colors looked a little too flat for me so I opted to go cyan and a bit of green for complimenting colors. Too much blue gave off that icy feels and I know this is not a snow monster of any sorts XD.

Then this is when I was trying to make shapes while figuring out how to actually make smoke 🤣🤣🤣 I have never drawn smoke before and the best I had was continuous smudging 🤣 then I found this crescent brush that could have worked 😅 but it was so hard to fix the color jitters so I ended up smudging that too 🤣🤣🤣

Like... looking at it now... it lacks definition so much but it's not a bad try for a first time making smoke 🤣 so I'd say this is still good.

I'm writing this on my break since I have this one mandatory Saturday shift at work. Later... I hope I can do a bit more drawing later or maybe more sleep XD either works for me but I do hope I can draw a bit more. My boyfriend promised to draw with me later UwU so I look forward to that so much! But for now, this is all I can work with. Hopefully my art on Monday or tomorrow look much better that this blotchy air elemental.

Thank you guys for stopping by! I'll see you guys real soon!
