A few days ago, while walking near a small river, I found a dragonfly that looked so unique and interesting. This dragonfly was perched on a rock, and I immediately realized that it was a member of the (Heliocypha) genus.

Its body color is predominantly black with white accents and a slight purple glow on its wings which seems to reflect light very beautifully. It moves quite calmly, but I have to be very careful approaching it so that it doesn't fly away. With great patience, I took several macro photos to capture this moment.

(Heliocypha) are usually found around bodies of water such as rivers or clean streams, and they often perch on rocks or small streams that jut out into the air. Their uniqueness is not only their contrasting body color, but also their graceful movements when flying low in the air.

While photographing it, I also noticed interesting details such as slender legs with fine spines and large eyes that seemed to be watching the surroundings. This dragonfly didn't seem disturbed by my presence as long as I moved slowly and kept my distance.
