Fungifriday:The Enchantment of Forest Mushrooms | In the Smallness of Nature

(Edited)

This sunny Friday, in the middle of the tropical and humid forests of Sumatra, I decided to explore nature and look for hidden wonders that many people may have never seen. With my smartphone, I walk along less traveled paths, enjoying the sound of birds chirping and leaves rustling overhead.

After a while I found a fallen tree trunk, covered in thick green moss, my eyes were drawn to something strange and beautiful, a group of small mushrooms growing on the trunk. Its unique shape and soft cream color exude an alluring charm.

I crouched down carefully. Trying not to damage this small ecosystem, the mushrooms look like small upside-down umbrellas with interesting striped patterns on the bottom. I pointed my smartphone camera, making sure the focus was perfect, started photographing this miracle.

When I take pictures I feel like an explorer who finds hidden treasures in the forest. Every angle and detail of these mushrooms is so enchanting, as if they tell a story about a micro world that is rarely seen. This morning's soft light filtered through the gaps in the trees in this forest, giving a magical effect to the photos I took.

After a while, I was satisfied with the results of my shots. I stood up and continued walking, but the picture of the mushroom I had just photographed was seared into my memory. I feel lucky to have witnessed and shared this beautiful moment.

When I finally returned home and looked at the photos on my smartphone screen, I was amazed by the natural beauty captured in them. These mushrooms are not just photo objects but also a symbol of how extraordinary nature is, which we often ignore, from there I am determined to continue exploring and dedicate the neglected mushrooms to be included in this beloved #fungifriday.

Just a few words today, friends in this beloved #fungifriday community.
