Geometry of the tree crown

Spring has arrived, it will be a little while before young leaves appear on the tree branches. The tree will change colour and volume. It will appear larger than it really is.

So it's time to rush into the forest to see the geometry of those branches. Right now, the crowns are transparent and defenceless.

Some trees will no longer get their lush spring hairdos. Their time has passed...

Other trees will provide shelter and home for many birds and a saving shade for people and animals in the summer heat. But that time is still to come.
