Enjoying lovely spring weather

Hello, dear readers!

Finally, I got a chance to take a relaxing walk in the middle of the day. This happens rarely, as my working days are usually busy. They say that May is called so because... it may be sun, or it may be rain, it may be hot or may be cold. :D But today the weather was perfect for a walk. A good opportunity to clear my head of anxiety and news of the war.

I made a loop around a small park nearby, enjoying rich spring colours, blooming plants, and all shades of young green.

And then I noticed a small red squirrel jumping under the trees. Usually, it is almost unreal to capture a squirrel with a smartphone camera, because the squirrel don't stay still and pose :D But today this little cutie surprised me. I did not move so she dared to come closer. Probably, she was hoping that I would grab a few nuts for her. This gave me time to take a couple of shots.

She jumped up a tree when she realized I had no treats. And I went on.

Dandelions are everywhere.

And the blooming of these bushes resembles recent snow. They are very common for Ukraine.

This dark red makes a lovely contrast against green. These buches are about to bloom too.

These little white flowers grow near my house. It is Ornithogalum, called also a Star of Bethlehem, for a reason.
