The Feeling It Brings.
I could feel the change it brought,
The thumping of the heart and tightening of muscles,
The sound they make is like music to my ears.
And I can't help but prepare,
For the next rhythm it may bring.
I stared deeply at what lay before me,
Slent tears found their ways round my fluffy cheek,
I inhaled deeply with a heart of gold,
The sound, "thump," "thump" filled my ears all night long.
Deeply, I knew I needed not to the told,
The spirit of life has taken me whole,
The chattering sound of my teeth and the smoothness of my skin,
It is hard trying to explain how I feel,
But I do not find misery in what I feel.
Life is full of ups and downs,
And in my down moments do I seek for joy,
For it is the only sane life source,
That can keep me rest assured,
In the ruins of the world, I have found myself.
Life is meant to be lived, not compete with,
For in competitions, we find a lot of heart aches,
This person and that person must not make it before me,
Verily I say unto thee, seek peace in these times,
For everyone has their destined time.
When hell is bent of losing itself to our world,
We shouldn't be among those to get caught,
I know it promises silver and gold,
But the sort of payback it'll need you to bring in,
Will be diluted with endless misery.
Let your heart feel love and joy,
As it shall pump it into every vein,
And when that happens,
You'll see there's so much to life,
*And agree that there's tons of beauty in our world,
Only if you'll let it in.

Very nice writing, we always look for the bad side to everything, however the most beautiful thing in life is there where we least think about it, beauty is in the little things we always have to open ourselves for that, thank you for sharing this beautiful writing ♥

Truly, when we leave, we leave with nothing, which is why living a good life should be our priority, not a competitive life.

Life is meant to be lived and not a competition. I strongly agree on that. Many people have met their end due to wanting to be what others are, and not being themselves.
That's right. They've forgotten that there are some race you shouldn't join in.
