Fears? Yes! It's the eyes that always get me biting lower lip like a starved parrot in need of people's accent, especially at nights. Their eyes give this strange aura that scares the living day out of me. However, for months now, I have been thinking otherwise. Maybe I am getting crazier, old, or just nature playing games with my emotions. Whichever is the case, I just found out that I am a deep-rooted cat lover!

According to the Ladies of Hive prompt of the week by @elizabethbit with the question;

If you could have any animal for a pet, what would you choose and why? Would you prefer the male or the female animal of that species?

My thoughts, words, and actions are on cat. It is strange because I have always been a rabbit lover. But now, I am adopting a cat very soon because I just find them super cute?

Wrong, right?

It is not just the cuteness, but mostly their way of life, attitudes, and everything about them. I have been doing research about them since I plan on adopting one, and I plan on going for the female one, maybe because I am a lady? Lol. I don't know. I just feel like having a female cat will fit right to me.

I have also seen videos and shorts on them, especially on #YouTube, and they are mostly hilarious and have this nonchalant attitude, which I find super cute.

I like that they are clingy when they want and also like their alone time, which works with me. The fact that they express their emotions without a filter is just super amazing, and their eyes... hehe, that's what has been getting me really swoon.

-And since they are known for their meticulous self-grooming habits, which keeps them relatively clean, though I know I'll still need to do my job of cleaning after them, especially when they'll be on my bed, that makes me really bent on getting them. Although, I plan on getting a cat bed and other necessary stuff needed before the adoption.

Also, cats are natural hunters and can help eliminate pests around the house. And truly, having a female cat means I'll watch it go through puberty. I think it'd be a lot more fun having one, and I can't just wait to adopt one -And if I am been fair on what makes me really start warming up to cats, I feel it is because I am somewhat catlike!

I hear you o madam cat or should I call you cat woman 😂

Cats are cute but they can be feisty too with their claws when they are pained.

The eyes scares me silly. I cannot look a cat in the eye and the legendary superstition about a cat's saliva causing blindness is another fear for me

Yeah, I kinda like that fiesty side of them (make we fight, lol). They'll keep me on my toes, and that'll get me more active physically

You on the eyes....cats have that mysterious, otherworldly vibe like they can see into your soul... and maybe judge you a little while doing it 😅 But it's wild (in the best way) how your love shifted from bunnies to cats.

I can totally understand you dear.
Initially I never loved pets even the popular cats and dogs.
But growing up I have come to have this cool feeling about cats and dogs.
Especially the super cute little dogs.

And yes, I can comfortably live with a cat as pet now.
