Battlefield.

The battle ground has been set, and the moment of our arrival on earth began a war. A war we know nothing of, but we have to partake in bearing on where we find ourselves; family, background, society, and other factors. The truth is that the war has been raging on and on even before we were conceived and because we were born, we have to learn or be taught how things were done so that we can gather experiences as we surf through life.

The battle of life comes even when we don't ask for it. It is just there anyway, and the more choices we make will determine what we get next. More battles or maybe a moment of peace and happiness.

There's a lot of battles in life, a battle of the life we want, a battle of love, and so much more. And the more we fight, we are left with scars, reminding us of what we've lost(innocence) on the way. The more we lose, the more we learn, and what we learn ends up becoming part of us whether we like it or not. Just like Peterson spoke here about asking a question in this podcast. You made the choice to ask, and because you did, you now know better. The choice you made to ask gave you an answer. That is, how choices matter in every life's situation.

This is why we should try to make choices whose lessons will bring a smile to our eyes for years to come. I know it is hard. No one gets it right to make the right decision at all times. We make mistakes that make us lose air. We feel struck with no air, gasping like a fish with torn gills.

So, while you are there with no air, try to relax, breathe, and don't push yourself too hard. Learn from those mistakes and don't let them define you. I have fought lots of battles, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically, and these battles harden and soften me. They make me see things differently, they help in my character building, and I can't say I have always made the best decisions, but I am sure glad of the ones that got me here.

I was able to accomplish a lot by taking things one step at a time. I know if I try doing it all at once, it'll get overwhelming, and I don't want that. Thankfully, music does help calm me, reminds me of how I started, and gives these nostalgic feelings. An inspiration that gets me going all the time and the songs I shared have really helped in their ways to create wonders. wonders I am grateful for because their presence soothes my soul.

Don't let your battles get to you in a way that leaves you gasping for air, listen closely, follow your music, and take things one step at a time.
