Young people with more heart problems due to stress

I recently read news that a 39-year-old cardiologist collapsed when he was talking to patients after a surgery. This is not the first time a cardiologist has had a heart attack. However, this was not the biggest news for me. The big news was that one of my friends, who is 37 years old, recently had a mild heart attack and had some regular shoulder pain. He did a master health checkup and was asked to take an ECG and an Echo. There were some variations found in the ECG and Echo. He was then advised to take Angiogram.

They found 5 blocks in the Angiogram, and the doctors said that bypass is the only option. It was very heartbreaking to hear this because it appears that age does not matter for heart problems today. The doctors had mentioned that Stress was the major contributing factor for heart problems. In today's world, even kids are taking a lot of stress, and adults are also taking a lot of stress in both house as well as in the office. This stress is sitting silently inside the body and slowly bursting out one day.

I was very happy that they were able to find something in the master health checkup he did. The doctors mentioned that he might have had a heart attack but it was not noticed by him. I don't know how far it is true, but it looks like stress also increases cholesterol in the body, it seems. Sleeplessness can also create stress. The doctor had spoken to his father and had mentioned that he is undergoing a lot of stress. Being his friend, I know that he is having a lot of stress in his family, and his financial needs are also increasing a lot. But everything getting elevated to bring him new problems is not something good.

Something also makes me feel that this can happen to anyone. We might think that we might be leading a very happy life with everything we need. But silently, we might be missing out on taking care of our health. After this very incident, I feel that I should be giving more care to my body and make sure I get enough sleep at night.

I hope he gets better soon. We really do need to take a chill and rest sometimes, because if we eventually fall ill the world will continue without us

I am sorry to hear about your friend's health scare. It's a sobering post that highlights a very real and concerning trend. I appreciate you sharing this personal experience to emphasize the silent and pervasive impact of stress on our health, especially among younger people. Your reflection on the importance of self-care is a valuable takeaway for all of us.

Thanks for sharing

Like I always like telling people, when you know how much value you bring to people, the best thing you can do for them is stay healthy as much as it’s possible with you because a lot of things will go wrong when you fall ill.

Medical checkups are underrated. We always think we are fine just because we are getting things done but it goes beyond that. People should also be encouraged to get involved in digital well being. We have smart devices that can help keep us informed of our basic health statuses like heart rate, blood pressure and more.

Recently my highschool friend collaps and die too because of heart attack.
I think what makes that is somehow we are shifting from hardwork labour to be fast social labour that need to sit down more and stuck in one place than moving our body. Also worsened with fast food.
Thats why i starting to do daily exercise to prevent some of this happened. But, like u said. The stress lately cannot be denied. Too everwhelming and not been better over time.

Previously, such diseases were rare and people did not have any problems, so now the problems have increased, so many people get heart palpitations here and do not even realize that some time ago they were sitting perfectly still.

It's the Covid vaccines.

Reading this really hit me… it’s scary how stress can quietly damage our health without us realizing it. I’ve also been guilty of ignoring sleep and pushing myself too much, but stories like this remind me that nothing is more important than health. I’m glad your friend found out in time, and it makes me want to take better care of myself too. 🙏

I don't think it's stress. The heart problems are caused by the Covid vaccinations. They were poison and now many are meeting their death for trusting the experts.

It’s a very concerning thing how common this is becoming at younger ages. Stress, poor sleep and unhealthy lifestyles really take a toll on people these days. I have to do some regular checkups and find healthier ways to cope with stress, because the last thing I want is stress related problems

On the one hand, the stress is almost unavoidable nowadays and we always have to try our best to manage it in a way that doesn't overly affects our health. On the other hand, most of these stress are self induced, in the sense that it comes about from how we perceive the world. I have this friend of mine who wants to be rich by 30 and that has been contributing a lot towards his stress levels but I'm sure he wouldn't admit it :)
