My friends are congratulating me for BTC hitting a new ATH
I have a group of friends to whom I talk about crypto and ask them to invest. Today we have a new all-time high for BTC and the other altcoins are also slowly catching up. There is a huge expectation on altcoins as the price has not started pumping yet. Some of my friends who have been following BTC news have found out that BTC recently reached its all-time high and they wanted to congratulate me. I wanted to tell them that my party has not started yet as I don't have any holdings in BTC but I'm waiting for the altcoins to pump. Especially most of my holdings are inside Hive. I want the Hive ecosystem to flourish and that's when my party will start.
Congratulating me is not making me happy right now
When I talk to people about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, they somehow think that I should be having huge holdings of BTC with me. That's one of the primary reasons why they wanted to congratulate me when BTC was hitting a new all-time high. I agree that this is a good moment for many people but unfortunately, it is not great for me because my portfolio is different and I don't have anything much to celebrate right now. I want the altcoins to pump a little bit and then only I can be happy.
Sometimes when people from the real world congratulate me, I feel a little sad for not investing in BTC when the price was as low as 3k. I guess many people would have a similar regret but it is never too late and people can easily participate again in the new bull market. I'm sure there will be opportunities again for people to invest and benefit. I strongly believe that there will be a bear market again and there will be a new ATH after that. This pattern will keep happening. We cannot be sure when it will happen but it will keep happening.
Should we celebrate the new ATH
I remember during the last bull run, we used to have parties in Neoxian City for BTC to cross the ATH value and create a new ATH. There were also a few other servers where parties happened and many people were happy to share the new ATH. This year when it is happening, I don't see many people celebrating. The main reason is that it has now become usual and it is not something that is not expected. Everyone believes in the new ATH of BTC these days and are already ready for it.
I'm sure during this bull market many people would have already reached their financial goals. I have seen many people regret during previous bull run saying that they had not bought any BTC back then. But now that we had the opportunity to purchase BTC as low as 25k, the new ATH is over 72k now which is a very good pump. I'm sure people who had bought it very low should technically enjoy this pump and book their profits.

It's the same when someone comes and congratulate you when your boss got the promotion to CEO of company. Makes no sense. !!
But yeah still people are ignorant about crypto and thinks BTC when someone uses the word crypto.
And the scams around the crypto is not helping it grow either. Still hurts when I think of Plexcoin which was to be the next btc.. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
