Many artworks can never replace the human touch, even though so many automations are available. Jewelry making is one such artwork where people rely more on reputed Jewelry makers instead of machines. I wouldn't say that there are no machines available today to make such Jewels, but people prefer getting them done from reputed individuals.

Today, there are many advanced machines available that can make Jewels automatically. It is a very nice work and with machines the output will also be perfect. That does not mean that manual work is not perfect. In fact, in some cases, manual work is costly compared to machine-made work. The reason is that people take a lot of time to make the Jewel, making it perfect compared to machines that make it.

In many places, this is being done by people who follow this tradition for several generations. They are experts because they do this job from a very young age and till their very old age. People who are making the Jewel also have it as a practice to pray to god before making the Jewels. It is believed that these metals have a huge connection with our human body, and that's one of the primary reasons why people were so keen on using only Gold and Silver for this purpose.

I think in the western world most of jewelry is automated and sold by big brands... Manual jewelry are the best

I don't think it can happen. There are still high value for hand crafts.
