HPUD October 2025 - Powered up 2000 Hive

Regrettably, I missed the power-up yesterday. I usually participate in HPUD on the first of every month, but I missed yesterday as it didn't strike to my mind that it was the first of the new month and I wrote a regular article yesterday. I don't feel very bad, and I have done a power up today instead of yesterday, and it is still a valid power up for this month, even though it won't be counted as the HPUD power up. The one thing is that I don't want to miss is the streak and keep going with my power-ups.

As usual, I was able to power up 2000 Hive on the occasion of HPUD, and I have been doing this for several months now. I recently completed reaching a total of 150k Hive power, and Hive in my account is continuously growing. I'm able to see the compounding taking effect because the Hive power in the account is also pretty decent. I have now set another soft goal to reach 160k Hive power before the end of this year, and I hope that shouldn't be a problem, considering the fact that we still have 2 more months to go. Let's see how it goes.

It appears that the author's rewards were very good last month. One big reason for this is the price of Hive. As the price of Hive is very low right now, we get the opportunity to earn more Hive as rewards. Compared to last month, I think this is a good value, I should say. The other thing that I'm excited about is the curation rewards, which are almost a passive income from curation. I want it to reach at least a minimum of 1000 Hive before the end of this year.

The above stats are from my secondary account. I'm trying to gradually increase my HBD holdings too, just in case I can create some passive income in the form of 15 percent APR from the system, apart from the APR that my Hive holdings are generating. I'm trying to invest a little bit every month in my HBD stake too, so that it also keeps growing alternatively in the side. I would be very happy if it grows to an extent where it can cover up my server costs. But there is still a long way to go for that. Hopefully it happens soon. The witness earning rewards are also happening in parallel, which is currently covering my server costs, which I'm a bit glad about. Hopefully, the price of Hive should increase, paving the way for more opportunities and more earnings.
