Dangerous to make kids have access to AI
Recently, when I was interacting with one of my cousins' sons, it sounded like he had some knowledge of ChatGPT. He is just studying 8th grade, and already, he knows the latest technology. Of course, we cannot hide any technology from anyone, but the amount of exposure these kids are getting these days is mind-blowing. When the discussion was happening, I was worried about the part where this technology is misused.
From the conversation with him, I understood that the school had given him a lot of homework for the summer vacation. I was imagining what if these kids make use of Chat GPT to complete their homework. I remember my school days when I used to go early to school to copy homework from other bright students who had already completed it. Today, I might think that it was wrong, but at that age, it might look like anything is okay to get rid of the teacher and not get any scoldings.
If there are a few equations given to the kids to solve as homework, imagine the kids asking Chat GPT about it and getting the answer from that and copying it into their homework notebook. In one way, I see this as the same thing that used to happen during my school days. We used to copy the answers from the other bright students, but maybe today we can get the answers from Chat GPT and submit the homework. Both ways are good because ultimately, we might end up not learning anything from that homework.
Mistakes in Chat GPT
We cannot say for sure that whatever answer Chat GPT gives is the correct one. Maybe if the teacher is finding it out, they will know if it is a human-generated one or a machine-generated solution. But even then, the students are clever to change it after getting the answers from GPT. There is no way that we can prevent this from happening. The future is going to be with this, and we have to somehow learn to live with this. As we have adapted to so many technological advancements, it is high time we adapt to this as well.
But ultimately, what we learn from ChatGPT also matters. If the kids know how to interact with GPT to get some answers, they might get access to some of the dark areas of the AI, and sometimes they might even be too young to know certain things. GPT will not know whether the information is provided to an adult or to a kid who is pretending to be an adult.

Oh wow I have never thought that chatgpt could be used to solve homeworks... That would make children never learn anything and develop their brain
I think the best thing would be to set tasks that aren't so easy to solve with AI or require some unique human input, at least for now that Ai can fully replicate human behavior, trying to implement some kind of dynamic where they really analyze things and give their opinion or summarize in their own words or maybe just help children discover how to use AI in a way that really helps them learn something because trying to block it never works for long and children always find a way around it 🤷
Now I see another bad side of AI, apart from knowing how some student use it to get easy answers for their homework. Yeah, just like other technology, we should at least have a frequent check on what the kids are consuming, because it is a pretty wild world out there in the gadget screen.

The issue now is that even the AI world are changing the world rapidly and this is juts the beginning
There were times when my little brother will send his homework to me and when I don’t know it, I ask from ChatGPT
very good point, and I have thought about these things too. We can't stop them from using it, we can only guide them and what to use it for.
For what? To learn and assist them instead of copy pasting without thinking. Yes, bad kids will be bad kids regardless, we can only save the good ones.
