Observing society's landscape from the middle, I listen without judgement with the intent to understand another's perspective.
It's been indicated by both sides the other side uses paid actors to incite the masses.
Is it true?
I don't know.
I wouldn't be surprised.
After all, anything is possible.
This was originally written April 18th, 2025 and post on X.
Because of the human suffering and chaos in our world with it's unknown trajectory I felt it important to add this commentary.
It is not ever my intent with my writing to contribute to division.
My intention and hope is we find common grounds and work together to leave our children a world better than we found it.
That we see through divisive tactics and find better days is my hope.

This tactic of divide and conquer is unfortunately moving us toward a world with islands without any bridges. I think the polarisation has reached quite an extreme spectrum nowadays. People don't listen anymore, their ideas have become fixated and hard like a stone.

As a moderate in my beliefs across the spectrum, it's been sad watching everyone pull away from each other instead of having conversations in order to understand each other.
You're right, we don't listen to each other anymore.
Because a person agrees with "a,b,c" for example another on the other side will likely assume "d-z" automatically applies to, when in reality that's not the case. Doing so only enforces the polarization.
We're nuanced as humans, multi faceted!
Perspective is everything. Unfortunately what becomes most popular and most shared is the negative sentiment by both sides.

Exactly right. Perspective is indeed everything. Sometimes it does look to me like viewing two sides of the same coin when it comes to these general modern debates. Give that we're nuanced creatures living in a world that's mostly based on half-truths, such situations are unavoidable but the best we can do is rise above it and try seeing everything from a higher point of view.
