Apocalypse (Keeper of the Birds)

Gold washed over the mountain tops
Spilling into the valleys as the sun rose.
Landscape of dark evergreen trees\
Back lit by morning sun's rays.\
Birds chirping, the only sound carried on the crisp morning breeze
to the mansion size cabin in the woods.\

His morning ritual\
Overlooking the mountains,\
watching the sunrise
and listening to the birds sing.\
(Black birds his closet kin)\
He played with all the birds-
but not until
the sun finished rising.\

He stood at the edge of the deck, slightly leaning into the banister. Waiting...

Gentle spring,\
Early morning birdsong—\
Revelry!\
Singing of rebirth &
Renewal

Wisp of his fine white hair danced in the breeze. Darker streaks of grey in his beard lined each side… Who knows how old he really is? He'll never tell...

Mountain air.

Deep cleansing breaths…

He brought his hands down hard on the banister… Evergreens shook from the force, Sparrows flew from the trees in haste—
Startled!

He watched as a few more birds were jolted, jumped and flew away...

He continued clapping the banister\
Of his sacred mountain cabin.
Sun has risen.
Time to play—
Birds jumping every time his hands come down with thundering...
Fewer birds jump with each clap.
Because the birds quick to jump with each slap of the banister are flying off.

Birds are like people swayed with public opinion…
The claps are public opinion…
The birds that remain are those unswayed by public opinion...
(Mostly black birds remain)

The birds that went out\
Were not out of order.
They carried truths
On their Wings
To you,\
To me,
Humanity.

They know There is no father Without a mother. After all, Aren't we all X's and Y's?
Masculine Feminine Energy?

Humanity came from somewhere?

However, religions shut mother down.\
And no one asks?
No one has issue?
Odd to me...\
Where?
Who?
Is our mother?
Who is She?

If we, humanity Have a heavenly father...

Logic states We also have a heavenly mother? Male and female energy.
Increasing harmonization.
Balancing.
The two are ONE Source.

It is written in heaven,\
So it is on earth.
As above, so below?
Two become one flesh.\
Must be a repeating pattern?
Energetically?\

This is one truth The birds will sing to you and me... There are more.

To woman, man & child\
Paradise on Earth Hidden away-\
Keeper of the birds\
Flying to and fro
Observing\
Reporting
Singing
and telling truths
To He and She,
Listening bees,
Witnessing trees,\
And humans too...

Red birds...

Black birds...

Brown birds...

White ones...

Don't forget the grey birds song— Their songs are pure alchemy!!!

But oh, those blue birds— They cover our globe...

I'm not a religious person but I am a praying person. It seemed proper to include the link above supporting the word apocalypse as a revealing of things instead of the end of everything. It's a good article from The Washington Institute. I haven't read any post on their platform until today when I was researching my understanding of apocalypse.

This is where I tend to resonate and tread water in these tumultuous days we are living in together with regards to apocalypse.

Maybe a new way of living and being is emerging?

Will we allow it or rail against it?

Are we in or are we headed into a new Golden Age?

Who knows? It might not be clear until we're twenty years out and look back on these days.

If you didn't already understand apocalypse from this point of view, I hope this work— a fictionalized apocalypse poem helped you see a different perspective.
