You have no love life!
You don’t have lots of cash!
You don’t even have designers wears, bags, hairs, shoes etc
What makes you think satisfied with your present the voice queried?
Ordinarily I would have ignored that lone ranging voice in my mind that bugs me every now and then. But this day I put on my big girls pants and answered squarely.
A man’s life does not consist in what he has. I may not have a personal love life but I have beautiful friends and family who loves me and are willing to support me everytime.
Talk of love life, the last incident that left me broken, they were the ones who stood by me and let me cry on their shoulders. What better love than that?
I don’t have designer bags and shoes and all those but I have enough to get me decently clothed and grateful for life. I am healthy and hearty and there’s no missing organs in my body. I can breathe and eat freely and for all that am grateful.
I don’t have lots of cash but am content and not in need of basic necessities. The past is behind and the future is ahead but what better blessings than to bask in the euphoria of the blessings of the now.
Being someone that loves to write a lot, did I need to mention the blessings of this beautiful discovery where I can pour out my heart all day and not be weary. Would it be weird if I told you I can spend all day blogging here and interacting with the great people here and not even lift a finger.
I don’t care about what I’ve lost, I don’t care about what I don’t have right now, the future is worth thinking about but right now, am basking in the euphoria and blessedness of a place to call home, a place to meet great people. A place to pour out my heart without bias or fear of being judged.
Am digging all in and exploring all that this beautiful space has for me right now and as little as that may seem, it’s my present reality and am soaking all of it in and am loving every bit of it.

STOPHaving designer bags or clothes doesn't define you who you are. Contentment is what matters most. Family and friends are the best thing. Having no love life doesn't make you less.

How nice it is to have friends and people who help us when we have suffered because of love or any other problem that has destroyed us. Having good things in life doesn't mean having everything, but having what is necessary to be happy. A hug 😊

Today is a 'present' as that is the time that it is. It is written, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own". This is so very true!
What is in the past is just that-the past. You can learn from it, but to stay in it and worry over it keeps you from growing.
