The AI revolution; Good, bad or both?

Well, and here we are talking about Ai and all the beauties and ugliness it has to bring into our lives. Hahah. Well, I am more into the beauty though cos I am just beginning to have a great time with AI. Meta Ai being my best as it’s readily available to me and I will soon dabble into the world of the famous chat gpt when the time comes but till now, meta all the way thanks to Whatsap.

Well, many people have their different opinions about Ai but for me, I am on its a good side, well for the moment because of the immense help it has been to me of late. It’s helps me to make research easily and it’s even seem to even come more handy for me now than google maybe after I noticed that google had incorporated AI into its search engine. When I google things, AI search comes up first before others and these AI search are more succinct and each of its mini search leading to other expanded search. It’s like having each point given to you rooted in a more deeper point with both the deep and deeper at your beck and call and I think it’s super awesome.

Ai has its advantages and disadvantages obviously as nothing is void of these two. From my usage so far, I have enjoyed some of the advantages of AI such as its ability to complement my work and make it easier for me. We all know that AI was built with the primary intention to help make our work easier and reduce the gravity of the stress and time we pass through in a bid to make our work faster and more efficient.

Ai makes the work and our thought process to achieve these work easier and faster hence helping us to save time and energy. As long as we feed it with the right prompt. Sometimes this may not be achieved if we don’t get our prompts right meaning that we have to be skilled in the aspect of prompting the AI rightly. Example of the ease I have experienced with AI is the creation of my thumbnail image for my posts for example.

There are some times, I visit the free to use sites that have free images for my content creation but I am not able to find the right kind of pictures that fits what I have in mind, instead of settling for what I don’t really like, I’d prompt AI to create me the type of image I have in mind and then I use it as it satisfies my needs. I also use Ai to generate ideas. The essence it’s not to copy these ideas and trade them as mine but rather it feeds my mind and I am able to draft out my opinions and thoughts being fed with the right information I need.

Ai helps me into making my work easier and also helps me with taking quick decisions through shorting my decision making process by the information it brings. It helps in personalized business branding and service design and also in general makes it easy to retrieve information about things.

With the rise of Ai, we know that peoples jobs are probably at risk and we see the abuse of Ai as people tend to become overly dependent on it and do not even make use of their brains any more. Someone said that chat gpt is his best friend and that leaves us skeptical about its use. But knowing that AI has come to stay, we should be concerned as to how we would use it to our benefit which in turn would minimize its negative impact in our lives and society.
