My Hobbies, huh? A mixture of passion and purpose.

Hobbies huh? Hmmm, I don’t seem to know how to differentiate between my hobbies or maybe some of my hobbies and my passion. If I say that my hobby is my passion, am I in the wrong?

Well, hobbies are what we do with our free time. What if I tell you I don’t even know the difference between my free time and normal time cos both are intertwined. I love to write and create contents. I spend hours on ending day after day on my phone writing all manner of things.

One of my hobbies is writing. I love to write a lot. I write to express myself . I write to earn a living. I write to be heard. I write to pour out my inner most thoughts. I wrote to relive stress. I write when am free. I write when am busy.

If I write for a living, is that still a hobby? Well, it’s possible. Meeting hive is like having passion meeting purpose and hobby intertwined together. And am glad to be here to explore all this space had for me and in turn I’d learn and contribute my own part of the quota to the system.

Well, aside writing, I move to swim. Don’t ask me if I can swim cos the answer is not really. Then what’s my realationship with water and hobby. Swimming gives my souls an in-depth satisfaction that is far fetched from the norm.

I don’t know why but being embraced by the cold arms of the water is a song to my soul. I can swim a little and the floater is my friend in the pool. If not why not. I hold unto it and rest my weary soul.

The funny thing is that 30 minutes in the pool, am already feeling cold. I would run out and bask in the sun and get in again. That’s why I also prefer to visit the poool when the sun is up. It give me lasting strength to battle the cold.

I also love to read in my spare time. Reading is a window to my soul through which I put in beautiful things and pullout the old. All things being equal. In my free times, I like to read, write, swim and the last but not the list, I enjoy cooking.

These hobbies are very satisfying for me. I get a lot of satisfaction writing. If it’s possible to retire all day without getting fatigued I guess I could but we are humans right. Well, when I cook my food to taste am alright. Then when I get into the water, the world comes to a pause. I find satisfaction in my hobbies and especially licking ice cream. Hahaha.

Well that’s it for my hobbies and the ice cream is the icing on the cake.
