Family comes first.

You received an invitation to three special occasions, but they all fall on the same day and at different locations — a wedding of your cousin, a huge family reunion, and your best friend's wedding anniversary. Where would you go and why?

Invitations and occasions are very important and integral parts of our life cos celebration is. It’s a beautiful thing to mourn with those that mourn and celebrate with those that celebrate. That’s the injunction of the Holy Bible but what if a situation where all the beautiful people in your life are celebrating at the same time and you are left with the hard decision to choose. What do You do?

Well, I am going to sit down and take analysis of the situation I find myself in. A little x-ray of the various occasions would let me know which to settle for. Ordinary I wouldn’t want to choose but now I have to. To the x_ray room we go…

The first is my cousin’s wedding. My cousin is a very important part of my life and the wedding is a great time of celebration for him or her and I ought to be there but then the second is a huge family reunion and the third is my best friend’s wedding anniversary.

All of these three occasions are all important as we see but in the order of preference, I’d start with eliminating my best friend’s wedding anniversary from the list. My best friend is always be my friend and anniversaries will always come.

If I am not able to make it to this particular year’s anniversary, I’d be able to make to the another. In as much as I want to be there but my hands are tired so I’d have to ask someone to deputized me or send them my gifts and or best wishes explaining why I can’t make it to the anniversary.

My cousin is an important part of my life but I’d have to pass on this too. Because he is not an immediate member of the family so would be next to be eliminated in the scale of preference.

Having eliminated my best friends wedding anniversary from the list and my cousins wedding, I am left with the huge family reunion.

Why would I choose this family reunion above the others? Family comes first. When all is said and done, we have our families to fall back to. The essence of the reunion is because we’ve been apart from each other for a while.

As a family we are close knit growing up but along the line, life happens and each of us goes ahead to live their lives and make their own families. We rarely see each other and this kind of reunion doesn’t happen every now and then.

It’s a big deal that every member of the family is going to be coming together for a huge family time. I wouldn’t want to miss that for any thing. The excitement of looking forward to seeing my siblings and parents after a long while and spending quality time with them is worth all of it.

Familiars are the best and would always come first. With no regrets and doubts, I’d cancel all the other invitations to have a great time out with my family any day and anytime.
