A tale of a fall, learning and resilience!

So guys I had a very interesting experience in the city yesterday. The city of neoxian ofcourse we know is a very interesting place to be and I have been enjoying myself all along in the city while chatting and meeting up with new and amazing people daily.

Well, our discord group is a very interesting place to be in. If you haven’t joined us there, you are missing a lot. There we have so much fun chatting and looting the doot from our able city founder with the mee6 bot doing all the justice to it. Various giveaways and all the good things you can think about. It’s a great city and one of a kind on hive.

Well, just like every great city, there should be rules and regulations to guide the citizens and enable them keep the city safe. Anyone that breaks the rules will be broken and this beautiful city is no exception. Infact Its actually the rules that keeps it going sanely the way it’s going and the founder Mr Neoxian and all the community leaders and jobbers are doing a job with keeping the city in one piece. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Well, I have seen people who broke the city rules punished but little did I know it would be my turn soonest. So I requested a role earlier to hold giveaways in the city without knowing that I already had this role. Well, I didn’t check cos I didn’t even know how to but ignorance of the law is definitely not an excuse right? I should have checked for the roles I had before asking for what I already had so I faulted the rules and was punished.

I was actually in level 11 as a citizen plus in the city but I was made a student again. Ohhh, how has the mighty fallen! I was devastated. Just that same day, I was encouraging someday to try and get to citizen plus rank only to be brought down to square one. I didn’t know how I felt. I couldn’t sleep well. Infact I had a night mere that night. Hahahah.

Well, I was saying that I would leave my rank like that that till next week but something within me wast ok. So I decided to stand up from where I had fallen. Dust myself and get back to being a citizen plus again. It wasn’t an easy job but I was determined.

I started chatting from about 8am in the morning and I was on my phone till around last 3pm. I was tired and decided to take a little break. I came over to hive and made a post and ate and than around six pm I went back again and continued till about 9pm when I got my citizen plus back. It was a moment of celebration in the city as my friends were there to cheer me up.

It wasn’t an easy experience but resilience paved the way for the bouncing back. In all these, I’ve learnt to be careful and also the power of resilience. We can do so much if only we are determined and focused on it.
