Daily practices that helped change my life

There is this popular saying which I've rephrased in my own personal way during the time I started working on myself to even be more effective for me. The saying goes “If where you or who you are with can't change you then you change them”. Change is a process that is constant, even in our daily lives. Change doesn't just take place overnight, change is constant and gradual. Even as you're reading this and trying to make sense of what I'm trying to convey for proper understanding or clearity certain components within your body are gradually changing, take for instance your body cells, the old ones may be dying off while the new ones are being birthed.
No one just woke up one morning with grey hairs all over his head, it's always a process of time, change takes place every second no matter how tiny or huge.
There have been a lot of things I've been battling with and one of them is not being able to go to bed early. This has been one of my major challenges as it always makes me wake up late every morning or sometimes even if I woke early, my head will just be in a terrible state in such a way I could hardly want anything that will strain my brains. Therefore in most cases I avoid strong calculations in times like that but when I figured out that it is a very unhealthy habit and it's really not helping me and almost driving me crazy, I started making use of alarms. Sometimes I even had to use alarms on my phone and at one point in time I even purchased wristwatches that can beep and a set time.

All my effort was to keep to time because I found out that my online business is the reason I rarely sleep. So I set out a time when I will have to stop all work and go to bed. This really helped me because in the space of one week since I started going to bed early at night I found out that my head that usually feels messy in the morning could feel naturally okay and I feel more balanced while walking and not afraid of taking on strong calculative tasks that could take longer times.

Another thing among the daily practices that helped change my life is constant exercises. There are time when I feel sick and recover just as it's natural to fall sick sometimes and be strong again but there came a time when sickness on its own seems to have mapped me out as one of his weekly visitors. I really passed through hell in those times though it really helped me find my faith and draw me closer to God. Terrible illnesses make you remember God for those who were once in the faith while many found their faith in God during their time of difficulties.
For me I learnt to pray, I became even more compelled to pray especially when the medications prescribed to me only seem to suppress the illness for a short time and to return in full force. After lab sections it will same result and higher drugs will be prescribed by the physicians but even with all that nothing seems to be working, I watch myself start to turn into a worry machine and the chief of terrible imaginations but God was faithful to me, health was restored and today I make out quality time for exercises. I discovered there's a difference between one who rarely exercises his body but does normal walking and one who intentionally spares time to challenge his whole body to become super charged and active.
Experience is the best teacher I must say and as long as we're alive here on earth there will be new things to learn every new day. It's as though the world on its own is a school where you learn from real events and happenings and not just some fairy tales we sometimes read in books.
So going to bed early at night helps me get enough rest to stay strong every morning, not to feel dizzy, headache, imbalance etc in others words these days I now sleep early to have enough strength to face Tomorrow, pray to God, exercise my body and go about my normal business and come back to rest early and feel refreshed.
