A Visit to Obosi Town Hall, the most popular place of gathering in the land of Obosi

Hello everyone, hope you're doing great. Today I spent most of my time exploring the town of Obosi which is located in Idemili North Local Government area of Anambra State, Nigeria. Guess what I found? I got to the heart of the town and found their town hall. This is the place where they host meetings and ceremonies, especially one that has to do with the community. The place is heavily guarded by some armed security guards. At first when dropped from the vehicle I boarded, I wanted to go straight inside the building but the presence of the armed personnel made me sit at the nearby shop to observe what was going on.

After a little time of observation, I found out that there is another building within the compound which serves as home or office to the security men. This gave me a little bit of relief because I thought maybe a crime was committed in the area, so in fact my fear turned into confidence knowing fully well that the area is secured.
Another thing that puzzled my heart is if the armed men will allow me to take pictures and so I waited for a while before I decided to take a walk into the town hall and see if I can talk to any staff member of the Obosi Development Union (O.D.U.) according to someone's suggestion.

Luckily I met the Secretary general who gave me liberty to explore more areas and even come into their offices. Inside the building is calm unlike the noises of vehicles I met outside. Also the Obosi town hall is located along the road which leads to the neighboring Town Nkpor the place I recently shared their civic center.

The structure of the Obosi town hall is amazing, from the view outside it looks great except the fact that it needs proper maintenance which is the only thing I found lacking. I saw where it is written concerning the building that was completed in the year 2010.
Inside the town hall I saw pictures of the leaders and high ranking members of the community and their great supporters hanging near the roof at frontage.
There were many chairs and they were all wooden chairs. Inside of the hall is kept clean.

While I was exploring the building I discovered that the building has a part of it that serves as a library. This is the place where books containing the history of the land and more important books were kept. I felt a little bit of delight and wanted to enter the library and see what I could find but sadly it seemed as though Library attendance was not around so I decided to check out for some other things.
I went upstairs and got to the balcony, the view of the interlocked ground was amazing to be viewed from above.

All through the time I spent there, the officers there never troubled me, they seemed to be very friendly and were even suggesting for more places I could capture its photo. After a while, I decided to leave so I thanked the secretary. When I stepped out of the compound I found out there were multiple numbers of tricycles waiting to get a passenger and I decided to go with one but then I recalled that while coming, it was in the same area that the rider stopped. Then I understood that the area just outside the Obosi town hall is used as a park which even makes movement to and from the town hall even easier. This shows that the building is still actively in use and there are many visitors coming and going just like myself. Thank you very much for stopping by.
