The power of Information
Recently I have found myself a bit more active on the most active web2 platform for crypto, X (Twitter) and one thing I find myself learning every day is the fact that the right information at the right time can change your life.
The majority of the people I have found myself in the midst of have also been in the crypto space for as long as me, some have spent even less time than I have, but then some of them have been able to accrue more than me because they had access to information about good opportunities and they took some of them. I also had some good info (finding hive) which I must admit has been great and has helped me with building a lot of my skills, but then I look back and I realize if I had access to some of that information that they had I'd have a lot more assets than I do (Or maybe not, you never know with these things).
I think this knowledge has been at the back of my head a lot lately and because of this, I am always trying to keep up to date with crypto news and opportunities. I find myself in almost every nuke and cranny, and whenever I see a good opportunity I can afford to follow through with I go for it. I have also been sharing some of these opportunities with my friends and we have been exchanging info.
Information is a very powerful tool and can make a huge difference. For example look at the people that got into bitcoin from the start. A majority of them are millionaires and some are even billionaires. Let's not even look at it from a cryptocurrency aspect. Let's say you have no idea how a phone works at all, all you know how to do is make phone calls. And then you sleep with your phone in hand and accidentally put your phone in aeroplane mode. When you wake up you can't make calls, your phone is as good as useless to you. If you are unable to figure it out you can take it to a technician who can easily exploit your lack of knowledge and charge you for your ignorance.
If you think about it, Information is money. Almost every single service you pay for, with the right amount of information and implementation you should be able to do it yourself. It is just that the process of getting information and acting upon it isn't always easy and you can't do everything. As such, it is wise to choose the right information that will be beneficial to you, and the type of information you are comfortable paying for, or those that you can live without. For example, I feel I can live without knowing how the Levi Civita symbol applies to my daily life (even though I was forced to learn it ), or the exact ratio in which water and cement will be mixed to create blocks to build my house. The first case isn't necessary and the second one is something I am comfortable paying a professional to handle for me.
But then when it comes to information like the latest tech updates, or airdrop opportunities my ears are always standing and I'm ready to pounce cause those are things that interest me.
I feel like my chances of missing out on a great opportunity will be reduced greatly. Looking forward to seeing the opportunities that come with being up to date.
