Productive reaction to anger

Anger is one of, if not the, of the most powerful emotions of man. A lot of things can happen when one is angry. Bad things, which is usually what happens, but sometimes good things as well.

Anger is like a flame that can be sparked by even the littlest of things. Anything can make someone angry,contact, lack of contact, words spoken, words not spoken, someone else's behavior, something we've seen, pet peeves, our inability, the list is endless.

Anger is contagious. You can see someone angry and once you hear them talk, what they're saying may spark your own anger.

Anger in itself is not bad, it is what you do when you're angry that can be bad and good. In Fact anger can spark something in someone and lead to something creative or beneficial. One can get angry and fight, one could also get angry and solve the problem. It all depends on how we manage it.

Channeling anger into something productive is the best way to use it. Like I said, it is a very powerful emotion, so if put in the right place, it can be almost unstoppable. Though doing that is not always so easy. Usually it's a bit easier when you're angry at something that you have the power to fix, but then they're a lot of things you don't have the power to fix, and then they're somethings you're angry at that you shouldn't even be angry at, or you have no right to be angry at, but you are and you can't help it no matter how hard you try. What do you do then?

Rather than let it eat you up from the inside it is best to channel it into something else. It could be something that makes the heart beat faster, like boxing, going to the gym, it could be something calming like writing, listening to music, singing it could be anything you want.

These days I have found that when I am angry I play chess. Chess in itself is a warfare so taking my anger to the battlefield just seems right. Majority of the time, if not all I play aggressive styles and go all out for the win. When I'm winning as aggressively as possible I can't help it but chuckle like a mad man. It just feels so good when you get that checkmate in the most brutal way possible, and it relieves a little bit of the stress. Although I must say that when I'm losing it adds a little to my anger. Which is why I have studied myself and I know to stop playing when I notice I'm losing too much. And when I'm on a streak I stop at the point where I feel happiest.

To be honest I'm not so sure why I woke up early on a Monday morning to talk about anger, but I'm not going to think too much about it. Wishing you all a blessed day. And remember if you get angry try to make sure you have a productive reaction not a negative one.

Anger is truly a very powerful emotion. It's something we all feel. Even the calmest and most stoic being feels anger. However, the difference between someone that's in control of his emotions and someone that is getting controlled by his emotions is the way each of them act when angry.

Anger sure can be used as an adrenaline pump to do something impressive.

Most people out there have anger issues and with the way the system is hard, if by mistake you annoy someone then you’re in for it.😂
The best way to avoid such instances is to mind your own business and we as individuals should also learn to control our anger in all instances.
