Monomad Challenge-Taman Sari Holds Stories of the Past
(Edited)
Hello hiver
Hello everyone, how are you
I'm back with a black and white photo of me that you might like and this is my entry
While walking around Yogyakarta, I decided to stop at a popular tourist attraction: a building called Taman Sari, with architecture that blends Javanese, Portuguese, and Dutch cultures.
The Taman Sari complex is surrounded by water, and many people call it the "Water Palace." It features a bathing pool, a garden, and a resting place for the Sultan and his royal family.
The remains of Taman Sari's former glory still stand majestically in the heart of Yogyakarta, testifying to the glory days of the Yogyakarta Sultanate. Built around 1758 to 1765 by Sultan Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I, the complex was rebuilt.

Hello @azwar.ipank.
Please keep in mind that the #monomad tag is supposed to be used only with black and white photography published in the black and white community. Basically as the entry ticket for our daily challenge with the same name.
@monochromes when i posted a black and white photo i didn't find #monomad in the post.
I apologize for this mistake
Stunning shots! 💖 Black and white truly emphasizes the magnificent blend of Javanese, Portuguese, and Dutch architecture and the deep history of the Water Palace 🙌
