MONOMAD - Light Foggy Morning in Jiva |

I have never stayed at Jiva Glamping Tent on Jalan Takengon - Bintang, Lut Tawar District, Central Aceh Regency, Indonesia. Since my work colleagues decided to stay here, at the end of April 2024, I was sure that the place was not much different from other locations on the edge of Lake Lut Tawar.

However, it turned out that Jiva's location was further away compared to other locations that we had used as a camping spot. The distance is more than one hour from Takengon City.

Maybe because the location is further from the city and higher (for comparison, Takengon City is located 1,200 meters above sea level), the temperature in JIva feels colder and hazier.

When I woke up, I saw the surface of the lake covered with a thin mist. Likewise with the tents neatly lined up in the distance. I took photos of the atmosphere at Jiva with my iPhone 7 plus and with a D-100 SLR camera, as usual.

This time the photo objects are people around Jiva Glamping with the surrounding natural background. Some of them are aware of being photographed and style themselves cutely, but there are also those who don't realize it.

As the sun grew warmer, the mist grew thinner and thinner, until it disappeared from view. Maybe tomorrow morning they will be back here again.[]
