Spriteling Battles

One thing that I love about Honor of Kings is that they don't just compete with other MOBA for being the greatest, but they also honor their players' feedbacks and respect cultures of every players from different countries. We have seen events from movies, anime and new skins inspired with cultures from folklores of different places.

This time, they made changes with the Spritelings. You can't just dresses them up but they can accompany you during ranked games. Not just that, they have their own challenges outside the games and can fight with other Spritelings. It is said that the game was made to honor pets who accompanies their masters to make their smile. I have watched it on some of their reels on Facebook. I'm not sure if it's still there, but you can check that out if you're interested.

The Spriteling Challenge have already ended as of now. Before it ends, I was able to reach Master V and the difficulty of the game depends on how well you can equip your Spriteling with special items. The catch here is you can't just choose what to equip them right away. The same thing with the skills, even if you can choose what skills you would like them with to have, it's not easy to acquire. You need to earn coins first to draw and only by drawing, you can acquire those items or skills. However, what you can get by drawing is totally random and each draw cost 10 coins.

More Free Skins

I have shared it before here that I don't really like spending money to buy skins and heroes. However, I made an exception before to purchase a Sanxingdui skin for Dyadia. The skin was about honoring a museum named Sanxingdui in China showcasing the mysterious artifacts from the Bronze Age civilization. The purchase got a bigtime discount and I only spent 60 tokens. It was surely a steal!

For my other skins, I only got them by draws and earning event tokens. When I got Nezha, it was through opening mystery boxes that I can earn when I leveled up in Honor Pass.

Donghuang was my main hero before, so I was really happy when I acquired the skin through the Nucleus lore event. I've tried playing more to gain more tokens to flip more tiles but it was getting more expensive on every flip. I didn't get the others until it ended.

Master Ziya is also a good hero here. It just that I don't how to make him tough during battles since he's an easy kill when cornered. You shouldn't roam head on when using him, but he is quite good during team fights especially that he has a passive skill that could sanctify, those whom he'll share it with, to level up to 25. By the way, I call him Gandalf here 'cause he looks like one.

And, more! Actually, I have acquired a stash of them but I can't upload all of them here. I didn't capture the other skins when I got it. But if there's another thing that players love about HOK, that would be how generous are they to give free trial and permanent skins.

My Journey as a Roamer

My main role in HOK is being a Roamer or Support. When I support my teammates, I support them with all I can. Mostly, when purchasing roaming equipment and choosing a skill, I would go for healing. I feel more useful if I can heal them everytime and can help them sustain few more seconds during clash.

The reason I love roaming because I don't like staying in just one lane. Also, I'm not a pro player who can handle difficult heroes, so that's why roaming is the most compatible role for me. I didn't expect I could be the top #96 Roamer in my city while I'm only trying to relieve stress. Actually, it's not #96 now, it went up to top #84 and I guess it will go up more if I play more but right now, I'm quite busy with school activities and working at night. So, I can only play if I could free time.

Dyadia is such a badass in battles if you just know how to use her passive skill properly. You can't easily catch her since she swing from point to point with her passive skill, and Skill 1 and 2. She's one of the most annoying heroes, too. Her skills can take money from the enemies when using skill 2 and 3 which can slow down enemy team from buying their items. Honestly, I can't master her passive skill up until now but I still enjoy her gameplays and right now, I made her my main hero in ranked games.

Currently, my hero journey as Dyadia reached Level 4 which will go up this month if I play more ranked games. I'm still trying to explore more heroes, not just her. It's just that other heroes are hard to master. I'm just a noob who don't get it right away after playing few games, so whoever is easiest would be my favorite.

Anyway, that would be all for now. I would write more updates soon whenever I have the time to do it.
