Cebu Trips Pt. 2: TOPS

On my previous blog, I shared how I traveled from Negros Occidental to Cebu on a land trip on the first part of this entire trip. It was quite a long 10-hour travel until I finally got to my destination. Gladly, I brought few snack with me to munch, if not, I would be starving so much before I got there.

This post has long been overdue but I'm still going to share this now anyway. The familiar company that I have seen at Cebu IT Park before is now the company where I'm currently working at. Time flies so fast indeed when you're busy taking care of things. A year or two may have brought a lot of changes but you couldn't mind anyway. I've got a lot of impressions during my first hours of stay here and for sure, there would be a lot more before another day go by.

The first one I have met was Adam, and then wittyzell, clara, kim and arc. It has been a long day, so before going anywhere else, we stuffed ourselves with Mexican food in a restaurant around Cebu It Park which I already forgot. After all the kumustahan and chikas, Clara and Kim suggested to visit this well known landmark here in Busay, Cebu.

Disclaimer: This image isn't mine. I have borrowed this image from TOPS facebook page to show an aerial view of the whole place.

We went here at night since the place isn't just famous spot romantic sunsets, city view and group outings but also for the beautiful city lights of Cebu at night time.

When I said that I never had an itinerary upon going here, I really mean it. I was just going with what my friends would suggest since they know the place best. With new sceneries and culture that I could witness and memorable experiences, I have no regrets with this unplanned and most spontaneous trip I ever had.

My phone's camera isn't really good at night.

This place is huge and they lots of amenities aside from the viewing spot that we came here for. We went here through a shuttle bus with a roundtrip ticket that cost Php 200. You can locate those shuttle around Ayala Mall.

I've checked their web page and found out that they also have Golf Cart Shuttles, a pet friendly place, event spaces, convenience and souvenir shops, food and coffee shops. We actually ate and had coffee on one of the shops here before going back.

We had fun here catching up while watching the city lights below. At first, we've waited for the fog to disperse because we had zero visibility from it below since it's thick.

People with hidden faces here are the anonymous friend I got to know with here in Hive. I had to cover their faces to respect their privacy. I'm always thankful for @wittyzell for this trip. If she didn't come home from Japan and gave us a place to stay in this trip at Cebu, I wouldn't be here making memories with the Hive PH squad. Also, I'm thankful for her also for letting me use the photos she took that was included on this blog (photos with ctto labels).

As I've said before, my phone's camera don't like to work its magic at night, so I didn't have much clearer photos. And because of that, I didn't bother to take lots of photos but took a video of the city lights below instead when the thick fog was finally lifted.

I don't usually travel to a place from home if not for an important reason. I'm an introvert who like to stay at home most of time. However, because of friends from Hive PH, I finally got a reason to travel and visit new places, so that I could meet them personally. All these years, I'm on the internet making virtual friends from social media but they're the only people that I don't have any doubts and fears before deciding to show myself personally.

On to our next adventures, I hope to meet more members around the Philippines.

That's how I was before. If you could see it on the pics, I'm such a socially awkward person. I don't know what to do, literally. Anyway, no harm in trying and that was the best experience.
