Back at ML Gaming Again and Welcomed by a New Season

Out of curiosity, I opened my Mobile Legends app a few days ago. I was welcomed by the gameplay animation lore of Zetian, a new character introduced this season.

At a first look, the figure looks very familiar. Her clothing, aura, name and lore —it speaks someone I know in mind from Chinese history.

Wu Zetian?

To justify my guess, I googled the backstory of that new character whose name is also Zetian. And yes, I am absolutely right!

It was said that Zetian was inspired from the from the only female emperor of China in Tang Dynasty —intelligent, dominating, influential and ruthless leader. Just like the inspo, the character is competent and can dominate the battlefield with her skills and power.

Addition to the Collection!

If I play, I'm going to play for fun and I don't like spending money for it. For me to have her in my hero collections, I bought her through Battle Points. Luckily, I had enough stash of coins accumulated on my account from continuously playing previously.

After acquiring her, I tried using Zetian on a practice mode, then, on Classic. She uses Phoenix magic and her figure is always imposing authority.

"...from ashes to queen 👑" One of the lines that I've heard from her while playing. She's a great character to use on the game, however, I still can't master the techniques to use her full potential. We've won on each games but I can't yet have many kills, and had few deaths instead. Moreover, her role always falls on midlane and I'm not used to it since I like Roaming and taking up Gold lanes.

Gaming with a Hiver...

Previously, I also joined the Hive PH Squad on ML. I was invited by @xanreo and @jude.villarta. However, after a week of joining, I've inactive once again due to some school-related activities.

If I'm going Gold Lane, Hanabi is my favorite.

This time, I've got some time this weekend. Then, I saw @xanreo and asked her to play with me and she agreed. I always pick Roamer roles while she's great with many roles. That's okay, though. I don't stick in just one lane anyway.

We've payed the ranked games. Never did I ever checked considering what her rank was before accepting the invitation. Her rank is a legend while mine is an epic. During the game, before you can pick a character, there's a banning phase. From there, my favorite pretty character got banned and I didn't know anyone to roam aside from Kalea.

In panic, I've asked rush suggestions from the Patata and he said that Diggies is a beginner friendly, so I went with it. Well, it's a brilliant suggestion because if I can't kill that much, then I can support my teammates more.

Initially, if my character ain't pretty, I ain't playing but I'll give exemption to Diggie. He's a great support in the game.

I hope I can find time to play with the squad again in the future. It's fun to play with friends. 😻🌷
