Permit me to acknowledge and appreciate the administrators and moderators of this great community which for me it's a family. Like i did say, i wasn't here for days now, coming in this morning to see the weekly prompt. I want to share my own view on the subject matter.

As the concept of double dating gains popularity, it's essential to examine its implications on young adults. While it may seem like a fun and social way to spend time with friends and significant others, I firmly believe that double dating is not ideal for young adults. This is a Cancer that has destroyed many young people already and is at the verge of doing same to others.
Loss of Intimacy and Quality Time.
Double dating can lead to a loss of intimacy and quality time between tow individuals who agreed to be together. When two people are together, the focus is often on the two relationship and how to manage them rather than the individual relationships. This can cause the individuals to miss out on valuable one-on-one time, which is essential for building a strong and healthy relationship.
Should i talk about Comparison and Competition among the individuals involved???.Double dating can also foster comparison and competition between the persons involved. When two couples are together, it's natural to compare relationships, partners, and experiences. This can lead to feelings of inadequacy, insecurity, and competition, which can be detrimental to individual relationships. The scary and damaging truth is that this can follow one ito marriage which can be very destructive and detrimental.
Furthermore, double dating can blur boundaries and create confusion among the two people involved. When two people are together, it can be challenging to determine what is and isn't acceptable behavior. This can lead to misunderstandings, miscommunications, and conflict.
Distraction from Personal Issues.
Double dating can also serve as a distraction from personal issues within individual relationships. When two people are together, it's easy to avoid discussing and addressing problems within one's own relationship. This can lead to unresolved issues and a lack of personal growth.
In conclusion, while double dating may seem like a harmless and social activity, it's essential to consider its potential pitfalls. As young adults, it's crucial to prioritize individual relationships, intimacy, and personal growth. By avoiding double dating, young adults can focus on building strong, healthy relationships and cultivating meaningful connections with their partners. I for one discourages double dating. It's a bad idea and shouldn't be encouraged among youths. As a youth pastor i fight that especially with those around me. We can build our relationship life on a faulty foundation.
