RIVERS OF LIFE CRUSADE: COMMUNITY SANITATION.
Good morning Hivers, welcome to the month of March and happy new week to you all. I believe this new month and new week will be gracious to us all. May the month bring peace and prosperity to everyone of us in our various endeavors of life.
Last week we embark on a crusade and we took time to go on a community sanitation in one of the community here in a village in Nasarawa State, Nigeria. I want to share our experience here with you my amazing family.
Rivers of Life Crusade: Community Sanitation at Agyaragu Gwadanya
On 27th February, 2025, our team embarked on a community sanitation outreach at Agyaragu Gwadanya, as part of the ongoing Rivers of Life Crusade. This initiative aimed to promote cleanliness, foster community spirit, and share the message of faith.
The Sanitation Process
We began by mobilizing community members, who enthusiastically joined us in sweeping and picking up dirt from the streets. We gathered the collected waste at a designated spot, ensuring that the area was thoroughly cleaned. The accumulated dirt was then set ablaze, symbolizing the transformation of the community.
Impact and Observations
The exercise had a profound impact on the community, both physically and spiritually. The once-dirty streets were transformed, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of cleanliness. Moreover, the event brought the community together, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation.
As we worked, we shared the message of faith, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness, both physical and spiritual. The community members were receptive, and we witnessed a renewed commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
Testimonies and Reflections
One community member,Mr. Livinus, expressed gratitude for the initiative, stating, "We've never had our streets this clean. Your team's effort has inspired us to take ownership of our community's cleanliness."
Another member, Mummy Otusha, shared, "The message of faith resonated deeply with me. I've realized that cleanliness is not just physical, but also spiritual."
Conclusion
The community sanitation outreach at Agyaragu Gwadanya of Obi Local government of Nasarawa State Nigeria was a resounding success. We're grateful for the opportunity to serve the community, promote cleanliness, and share the message of faith. As we continue the Rivers of Life Crusade, we're eager to witness the long-term impact of this initiative.
Thank you very much for taking time to go through this summary of our last week outreach. Hope you find this a challenge to embark on a humanitarian community development.
This is incredible, a well defined outreach of the Gospel. I was not aware of the outreach I would have joined to also participate in the community sanitation because I really love serving... and the place "Agyaragu" is not too far from me. More grace sir.
Wow wonderful
Wow, when you said crusade I was expecting some sermons being preached. But this is another strong dimension of preaching too. Acts of service. This is an eye opener.
I think it's high time we stood up as a church to do the things we long to see happening in our communities, such as these ...
A man of God shared how his team were led to go wash toilets in University of Jos hostels during a period that water was lacking...the bottom end of it is that, the hearts of people were cut and they received the message gladly.
Thank you for this sir
May God increase your ministry, Amen
