February's Wisdom: Discerning Heartbreakers

It's been a while i come by. It's because of some some unforseen circumstances beyond my control but I'm glad to meet you all again.

Happy February, the month of love! I'm confident that even though it's the shortest month, you'll achieve great results in quick succession.

My fellow Hivers, today and for this month, I want to share some wisdom from the Word to help you discern those who might break your heart.

Why i thought to come up with this is generally speaking this month is consider to be the month of love. And I've interacted with many especially young singles and what i hear sometimes prompt me to write this believing you will find it helpful and educative too.

This is one month that will record extensive Beach Hangout by many people especially on 14th which is tagged lovers day.

I'll be sharing this wisdom especially with singles and everyone who desires to have an amazing year while we enjoy food, fun, and fellowship especially on 14th February.

Here are some key characteristics to watch out for so as the avoid or limit the likelihood to experience heartbreak

:

They make you feel consistently sad and unhappy (Ecclesiastes 7:3).

They appear fearful, unsafe, and intimidating (2 Timothy 2:7).

They are untrustworthy (Proverbs 27:6).

You're not proud to introduce them (Proverbs 25:19).

You can't relate to them freely (1 Samuel 18:14-15).

They prioritize sex and romance above all else (Hebrews 13:4).

They don't support your dreams (Lamentations 1:19).

They don't invest in you (1 John 4:11).

They damage your self-esteem (Proverbs 18:21).

They deny and embarrass you (John 13:38).

They don't appreciate you (Proverbs 17:22, 18:14).

They avoid spending quality time with you (Proverbs 17:17).

They are deceptive and inconsistent (James 1:8).

They don't care for you (Ephesians 4:31-32).

They struggle with forgiveness (2 Corinthians 2:7).

You feel a fundamental disconnect (2 Corinthians 6:14).

They are unwilling to change or abandon harmful habits (Proverbs 26:11).

They lack vision and purpose (Proverbs 29:18).

They don't show genuine love (1 John 3:18).

They are disliked by others (2 Corinthians 13:1).

You don't genuinely love them (Genesis 19:31-32, 36).

You have no inner peace or conviction about the relationship (1 John 5:6).

They avoid meeting your authority figures (Proverbs 18:24).

They don't demonstrate a fear of God (Genesis 39:7-9, 42:18).

They are non-committal (Proverbs 25:19).

They pressure you into things you're not comfortable with (Numbers 36:6).

They lie easily (Proverbs 14:6).

They control and intimidate you (Jeremiah 5:27).

They are involved with others romantically (Matthew 6:24).

The relationship lacks definition and direction (Matthew 6:21).

They can't control their emotions (Proverbs 25:28).

They are seductive, tempting, and put pressure on you (Revelation 2:20).

They are emotionally distant and withdrawn (Ruth 3:10-11).

They consistently cause you pain (Proverbs 27:7).

May the Lord deliver you from heartbreakers this month, year and surround you with true love.
