Memorable moments in 2023

2023 was a year full of memories and lessons. There are a lot of memories I had in 2023 that selecting three would be a bit difficult but for the sake of this post, I'll do just that. Here are my top three memories from 2023

My first memorable moment was my birthday
My birthday last year was at the top of my list.
I had an exam the the afternoon of my birthday so I used all morning to prepare for that.

Thankfully, the outcome was good so it set my mood right. I wasn't expecting anything because I knew times were hard and I wasn't in contact with most of my friends but I was surprised. I received gifts from people l least expected.

The wishes and notes I received were just everything. People I had lost contact with called to wish me well and sent me gifts too. As the day came to an end thinking everything was over, I got an alert on my phone that left me speechless.

My mom sent me an amount of money I never expected and just couldn't stop thanking her, also because I was broke and needed some money then. I slept that day with a big smile on my face.

My second memorable moment in 2023 was the hive project I was a part of, the Asamankama borehole launch.
It was the first ever hive project I witnessed and I was very happy to be a part of it.

The best part was interacting with the school children and community members; seeing the smiles on their faces and the impact of the borehole in their daily lives. It kept a smile on my face too.

I also met some amazing hivers like @nattybongo and @awuahbenjamin who contributed to me having an amazing time at the borehole launch. The whole team was great and so welcoming and I wish to have another hive experience like that again, one day.

My third memorable moment was meeting some interesting people. I met some people this year who defined the real meaning of friendship for me.

And I'm so thankful for meeting them. They advised, encouraged, and motivated me and it's because of them that I was able to make it through some of the difficult moments of 2023.

As we begin a new year, I hope 2024 brings more opportunities and love our way.
