A valuable skill

Learning a skill in our world today, especially in our part of the world has become one of the most beneficial habits one can have. With our economy continuously drifting, having a skill or handiwork is one of the best ways to subsidize one's needs.

As individuals, we must all acquire one or two skills that would be a backup or Plan B for us in times of need and trouble. Learning a skill in the beginning proves to be difficult, frustrating, tiring, and sometimes painful but as the saying goes, nothing good comes easy.

Personally, the skill that has helped me the most in difficult times is fashion design.
The art of stitching has helped me meet up with people I never thought of meeting, also also save up some money.

It comes with a lot of discipline, dedication, and persistence amongst others because at some point you feel like giving up. It helps one learn how to interact better with people, market your brand, and always be alert and fast with any workload because you never know when a customer might come asking for his or her material.

The art of stitching and fashion opens one up to new fashion ideas and designs which makes the individual unique in his or her fashion sense.

I quite remember when I was tasked to organize a program with my decorations and theme and that was when my fashion designing skills came in. I did everything to perfection and I was hailed and applauded for the difference I brought. I got a bonus and raised my raise and that was how my fashion designing skills helped me out.

Another skill I've learned is marketing. Marketing skills play a very vital role in the world of business. How to communicate with people, how to convince people to purchase your product, and how to make sales all fall under the art of marketing.

Through these marketing skills, I acquired, I entered the world of digital marketing which now serves as a source of passive income for me.
