They Can Replace You but you can't replace yourself..Food For Thought

Is it true that we only live once, but when lived properly, once is enough? I have come to realize that people nowadays don't have enough rest. It has always been work. We have devoted our entire lives to work, leaving us with insufficient time to care for our bodies.

I know some people who will go an entire year without visiting the hospital for a checkup. A tragic event occurred some time ago in Brazil when an entire football team was involved in an accident while flying to a soccer match. The majority of the players were killed, and I assumed the team would perish. But the team is still in action, and new players have been recruited. This could happen to anyone, and we have no control over it. But imagine killing yourself for someone because you believe you love them more than yourself. I am not here to scare anyone, but I just wanted to let you know that when you leave, you will be replaced at work. If there is anything that we need to focus our attention on, then it should be treating ourselves properly. I am not saying that our existence is useless to others, but it is very natural for people to replace us.

If we have anyone to please in this life, it should be ourselves, not others—even Jesus—upon what he did for the people rallied for him be killed. I also know some people we have in our lives. They are only there for the benefits they can get from us; if the benefits disappear, so does the friendship. This is the man for you.
