In one way or another, we affect people's life being it positively or negatively. We have so many things around us that people look up to. Sometimes we might not even notice that people are watching, but deep down the drain, our lives are shaping others.

I remember when I was in school, I always asked what I wanted to be in the future and I'd I give an answer that I wanted to be a very prominent person in my society. I choose Teaching as my profession. The reason is that I see teachers as very influencers in society more than anyone else. And through this, I could impact more people. Because I was having someone I was looking up to. Of course, there were so many other people around, the bad ones as well but I didn't want to be like them.

I saw their lives as bad and that could ruin my reputation growing up. I always have someone to look up to because of the life he was living. Not saying he was perfect, but his life was exemplary to the youth to lean on.

Now this path I choose has shaped my life and this is the trend I want to continue as well, live a life that people will stand afar and embrace. Sometimes it is easier said than done, but if you purpose your mind to start gluing to what you want to achieve, you will surely achieve.
Our society is corrupt and we have so many bad guys out there, but if we could serve as an example, people would look at us and defend our society just in the Bible Abraham was pleading for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah.

We have so many ways we can influence others without necessarily being a teacher or parents. Through what we post on the internet, we can influence others, through what we put on, through what we spend our precious time on, through what we do to our bodies and so many other things.

This is the more reason why we need to be careful that whatever we are doing, we do it with conscious carefulness especially on the internet which has so much reach now.
How you live your life is in your hands but just make sure you are like that stream that serves everyone.
