Hello community, this is the first of what I hope will be many presentations of mine at this prestigious Festival.

I bring you an original song, lyrics and music of my inspiration. It was the first song I composed, and it was inspired by the real experience of a dear friend who saw her home of years destroyed because her husband was unfaithful to her with her neighbor.

She told me - with pain and sadness but without resentment - his experience. From the first signs, the first suspicions, until reaching the moment when everything was discovered and the man "flew" with his bird to try to consolidate a relationship that was only temporary and very marked - on both sides - by jealousy and distrust.

I listened to her and while she told me her experience, this song was taking shape inside me.

It is in the first person because I put myself in his place and tried to express his pain from my words in an experiential way.

I dedicate this song to all the people who have lived or are living this type of unfair experiences where, in the end, everyone is hurt and those who suffer the most are the children

This is as old as the world, as old as Humanity. These are things that should not happen, betrayals that should not be committed, betrayals that should not be received.

I would like to take advantage of this space to talk about the instrument with which I accompany my singing.

The instrument he played is the Cuatro - so called because it has four strings -. Their tuning is A - D- F# - B. It begins ascending from the A before the central C. But the last grade (B) goes down again.
This melody made by the four open strings - that is, without being stepped on any fret - is accompanied with the lyrics: "cam - bur pin - tón" (Being "pintón" refers to being in an intermediate state between green and yellow..

The cuatro is a very popular instrument in Venezuela and very versatile. With it you can play only folk music from the plains region of Venezuela but also practically any international rhythm.
