RE: What do orchids like, I wonder, and this weekend I give them a treatment

You know what? I've never had orchids, but they're my mother's favourite flowers. In Argentina, neither the soil nor the climate were suitable, but here in Spain I see that many people have them, and your post is ideal for reading carefully and learning how to care for them properly. I thought it was more complicated, but you've made it simple in your explanation.
I went to see your post from last year, and thinking about how they produce such wonderful flowers makes me want to have several. I only have a balcony, which isn't even a terrace, and it doesn't get very cold here, so I think it would work. I loved seeing the step-by-step guide and learning that there is special soil for them. Thank you!

I am glad that you liked my posts, that you found valuable and useful advice in them, and I will be especially glad if you decide to buy at least one orchid.
Just because of the beauty of its flowers (which last from a month to two), I nurture them throughout the year.
If you don't have space on the balcony or terrace, you can also keep them on the window, where there is no direct sun, because they like light without the sun and a temperature of 25°C (in Spain it will hardly be only 25°C now that summer has started 😀 but with enough moisture, they will survive). During the winter, just keep them away from the direct heating source and don't worry, your mother's favorite flowers will decorate your home as well.
Thank you very much for these tips, they are very useful and will be a great help... I'm going to surprise my mother!!! Thank you!🤗
