It's Not A Spiritual Attack!

Over the years, I've realized that people in my region see every health challenge as a spiritual attack by the enemy. They then begin to cast and bind in prayer houses when they are supposed to be in the hospital for treatment. This has cost so many people their lives.

Another thing is self medication. Some people just feel sick and the next thing they do is go to the pharmacy to get drugs without a proper test being carried out on them.

Some others starts taking agbo (herbal concoctions) immediately they feel strange. These herbal concoctions don't even have measurements. They do these and damage their kidneys causing bigger problems for themselves without knowing. Let me share the story of my mum's health challenge and how we became victorious.

My mum started noticing while eating that she becomes full quickly and it's difficult for her to belch. She also started noticing that her stomach was becoming bigger. She went to the hospital immediately but because the signs were not obvious, they were treating her for infection.

When her symptoms persisted, she was referred to another hospital where she undergo series of tests before it was detected that she had ovarian cancer. At this time, her stomach was already looking like a six months pregnant woman.

People had already started saying it's offa (a spiritual attack) they started recommending funny concoctions for her to take. But because we knew better, we just kept her medical appointment until she was booked for surgery which was successful and after that she went for chemotherapy.

Mind you, I've heard of people who die in such condition because they were busy focussing on something else while neglecting the most important, and the reaction of people was that its 'spiritual attack'
A friend's mum died in the church recently because they were fighting the enemy instead of focussing on medical care. The woman died just like that. I think no matter how spiritual you want to be, you should focus on medical care while you pray.

Self medication is another thing people do without thinking through. How do you know it's malaria before you went to get the drugs for yourself?
Some will even go as far as getting antibiotics without doctors prescription. Are you a doctor?

Why I decided I will never self medicate was a time I took my baby to the hospital. I felt she had malaria but when the test results came out, she had no malaria or infection. The doctor only prescribed vitamin C and after using it for two days, my baby was back on her feet jumping and playing around. If I had gone ahead to buy drugs I would have spent a lot and also be endangering her. I don't mind how long it takes me to wait I must see the doctor.

I'm not against taking organic medicine but I believe you must be diagnosed first before you know what type of organic medicine you should take.
