Más que preferir el jardín he llegado a la conclusión de que estar en contacto con la naturaleza es una necesidad que tenemos todos, con el gran jardín de la creación... y ahí me pongo filosófica jaja
En parte los jardines y su belleza me asombran, soy apasionada por las flores y me encanta presenciar el proceso de embellecimiento de los espacios mientras se van sumando plantas naturalmente a nuestros hogares.

More than just preferring gardens, I have come to the conclusion that being in contact with nature is a need we all have, with the great garden of creation... and that's where I get philosophical, haha.
In part, gardens and their beauty amaze me. I am passionate about flowers and I love witnessing the process of beautifying spaces as plants are naturally added to our homes.
Más si bien me gustan las plantas y sobre todo plantar, siempre fui bastante viajera y por esa razón no todo lo que tuve la oportunidad de sembrar lo llegue a cosechar o mismo a cuidar en el caso de las plantitas recolectadas y compradas que he tenido. Puedo decir que el jardín me parece un proyecto que tengo en el tintero, parte del sueño de en algún momento diseñar y crear mi casa.
Hoy en día sigo viajando, más siento que en el camino he ido acercándome al sueño, encontrando lugares con una naturaleza impresionante como lo es el caso de mi hogar actual. En los últimos meses he estado viviendo en el campo de Uruguay, rodeada de monte nativo en una zona muy cercana a las sierras de Minas.
Although I love plants and especially planting, I have always been quite a traveler, and for that reason, I have not been able to harvest everything I have had the opportunity to sow, or even care for the plants I have collected and purchased. I can say that gardening is a project I have in the works, part of my dream of one day designing and creating my own home.
Today, I continue to travel, but I feel that along the way I have been getting closer to my dream, finding places with impressive nature, as is the case with my current home. In recent months, I have been living in the countryside of Uruguay, surrounded by native forest in an area very close to the Minas mountains.
Aquí intentamos en un momento plantar, preparamos la tierra y se dieron algunas sandias y melones, también una planta de papa que a razones del clima después de una tormenta con granizo se dañaron y no pudieron continuar su ciclo. Lo que si he visto varias veces crecer aquí en Uruguay es el cannabis, junto a amigos he plantado, cultivado y cosechado, ha sido una planta que me ha llevado a estudiar de sustrato, de cuidado en vegetativo y flora, del clima y de cosas que jamás imagine medir como la humedad y el frio, indoor, outdoor, de todas formas, la ultima planta que alcance a plantar este año, fue cosechada de forma forzosa justo el día siguiente de la tormenta jaja una que otra rama rota me hizo considerar que era tiempo de recoger y preparar.

What I have seen grow here in Uruguay several times is cannabis. Together with friends, I have planted, cultivated, and harvested it. De las cosas más lindas de esta vivencia ha sido conocer el campo y todos sus matices, las flores que jamás había visto, las pasturas que cambian de color con las temporadas, fenómenos como el viento esparciendo semillas por todo el campo o el viento cantando. Sin dudas el artista que creo esta obra se ha lucido.
En este momento de mi vida más que un gusto, se ha convertido en una necesidad como dije al principio, volver a la ciudad me ha parecido un absurdo, además de ser muy incomodo. Soy un convencida de que el relacionamiento y la interacción con la naturaleza me ha sanado, me ha enseñado profundamente desde el silencio a través de la contemplación.
At this point in my life, more than a pleasure, it has become a necessity, as I said at the beginning. Returning to the city seems absurd to me, as well as very uncomfortable. I am convinced that my relationship and interaction with nature has healed me, teaching me profound lessons through silence and contemplation.
Mi respuesta a la pregunta es SI, amo los jardines, prefiero las casas con jardín, y SI, me encantan las plantas, la tierra y su belleza natural. Las flores me alegran el día, también los pájaros que llegan a casa gracias a las plantas, Agradezco muchísimo el siempre encontrar la forma de plantar alguna cosa sin importar donde me encuentre y también la suerte que he tenido de conocer distintos paisajes a través e estos viajes. Cuando vuelva a plantar jardines seguramente me encuentre en otra geografía, así que hoy dejo estas fotos para recordarme este paraíso.
