Splinterlands Challenge - Tatiana Blayde lvl 1 VS max lvl Drybone Raider

Hello everyone, this time I will be participating in this Splinterlands Challenge, where I will be showing you a battle in the modern ranked league, one of which, only units with ranged attacks will be allowed to be summoned.

The protagonist of this battle will be Tatiana Blayde, a legendary neutral unit that has two types of attack (ranged and melee) and the only neutral gladius unit in existence.

Tatiana Blayde starts at level 1 with a melee attack power of 3 and a ranged attack power of 2. Her health and speed are both 5. And like all gladius units, she has the Bloodlust ability, which allows her to gain +1 to all stats whenever she defeats an enemy unit. Additionally, she has the Close Range ability, allowing her to perform ranged attacks in the frontline position.

At level 2, her health increases to 6 and she gains the Dodge ability, which grants her a +25% chance to evade pyshical attacks (melee and ranged).

At level 3, her speed increases to 6 and she gets the Inspire ability, which increases the melee power attack of all allied units by 1.

And at max level, Tatiana's health increases to 7, and she gains the True Strike ability, so she won't be able to miss any attacks from now on.

Unfortunately, I only have Tatiana Blayde at level 1, but she's still strong enough to take out enemy units with her double attack, as she will prove in this battle.

BATTLE

There are three modifiers active this time. The first is the Going the Distance modifier, which, as I mentioned at the beggining, only units with a ranged attack can be summoned. Then, the Armored Up modifier, will give all units +2 armor. The third is the Even Stevens modifier, which only allows to summon units with even mana costs.

I'm playing with my account: langice. This time I choose the dragon summoner, now called Archon Helios Matriarch, which allows me to play a gladius unit and increase the speed of my units by 1.

I will start with Tokatag Conscript as my frontline unit, just because she has 7 health, maybe she's not the best unit for this position, but it will allow my other units not to be attacked early.

I then summon, Molten Ash Golem, which has more health than my frontline unit, only has 1 attack but can attack in the frontline position. Drybone Raider is in the next position, has a melee and ranged attack, and can attack twice per round.

Tatiana Blayde will be in the fourth position, ready to get stronger with each kill.

Finally, two ranged units without any abilities, Xenith Archer (ranged attack power of 1) and Supply Runner (ranged attack power of 2).

In the first round, the enemy Drybone Raider, who is at max level, destroys my Tokatag Conscript.

In the second round, both frontline units were damaged, but neither was defeated.

In the third round, Tatiana Blayde defeats the enemy Wave Brood and, thanks to her Bloodlust ability, gains +1 to all stats. After that, the enemy Supply Runner defeats my Molten Ash Golem.

In the fourth round, the enemy Merdhampir defeats my Drybone Raider.

In the fifth round, Tatiana Blayde defeats the most powerful enemy, Drybone Raider.

In the sixth round, the enemy Suppy Runner is defeated by Tatiana Blayde. Then, Xenith Archer defeats the enemy Tokatag Conscript.

In the seventh round, Tatiana defeats Kulu Swimhunter. And in the eighth round, my Supply Runner ends the battle by defeating Merdhampir.

In this battle, thanks to having high health units in my first positions, and Tatiana Blayde in a safe fourth position, she was able to damage the enemy units without taking damage.

The enemy Drybone Raider was level 4, so it was the strongest enemy unit, but it was no match for Tatiana Blayde, who was under the effects of Bloodlust, defeating the Raider in the fifth round.

This time, Tatiana Blayde was able to destroy 4 of the 6 enemy units, increasing her stats to a total of 7 melee attack power and 6 ranged attack power, becoming very strong, and winning the battle with her allies in the seventh round.
