How to buy Alpha Centauri Pack, opening my first one in Moonkarts
In Moonkarts, there is currently only one pack that has been released, the Alpha Centauri pack in late February 2024, but it is no longer available on the Arcade Colony Moonkarts website because the packs are sold out.
But, you can still buy them on third party marketplaces like Hive Engine, where the cheapest one costs 9.5 Hive, which is currently equivalent to $2.30.
I bought the centauri pack for 9.40 Hive.
After purchase, on the website: https://arcadecolony.com/packs, you will see 1 Centauri in the Hive Engine, simply press Transfer In, and the Centauri pack will be transferred to Moonkarts.
I bought mine two days ago, but unfortunately there was a delay in processing transactions. But, don't worry if this happens to you, as the pack will appear in your inventory a little latter, but it will appear. You can check out the Arcade Colony Discord to report any issues.

Before opening the pack, I make sure to purchase some Script, also from Hive Engine. This is for legendary and gold fluxes, which will help increase the chances of getting legendary and golden cards.
Same process as the Centauri pack, I press Transfer In and the Script will be in Arcade Colony, ready to use .
Each legendary flux costs 0.08 Script, 5 of them 0.4 Script. And each gold flux costs 0.2 Script, so 5 of them cost 1 script. In total, I spent 1.4 Script to have 5 of each flux.
Without these fluxes, the chance of getting a legendary is 0.8% and a gold card is 4%. With the use of fluxes, the chances are doubled, so a legendary will be 1.6%, and a gold card 8%.

I go to Moonkarts: https://moonkarts.arcadecolony.com/play, in My packs and press Open Now.
After making sure the use of Flux is checked, I opened my first Alpha Centauri pack.
I got 3 common cards, 1 epic tech card, and the Lunar Glide, my first power up. I didn't get any legendary or gold cards, but it was still really cool.
I don't know what happened, but when I looked at my assets, the Lunar Glide was replaced by the Celestial Thrust, another power up, but I'm not complaining since I actually prefer this one :D
Now, my car can use the Celestial Thrust power up, which allows it to gain a temporary 10% burst speed, which only lasts 2 seconds and has a cooldown of 15 seconds, because it is currently at level 1.

I also equipped the epic tech Reinforced Body, which gives my car +48.8 health and +3.3 acceleration.
With all my cards, my car now has 133 health, 130 speed, 76 handling and 78 acceleration, not bad at all, and this is just the beginning. But now my car consumes 81 fuel, so I will need to generate more fuel if I want to put more tech cards in the car.
I played a few races to see how my car had improved. I forgot to check before the race what my Celestial Thrust hotkey was, so I pressed all the number keys, but nothing happened. After pressing many keys, I realized that my power up was bound to the I key, giving my car a temporary burst.
At the end of the race, I got second place and got 0.31 colony, still very little, I will need to stake more colony to earn more rewards.
After changing the hotkeys that were associated with the power ups (which were random) to number keys, I played another race. This time I got 0.34 colony and now I'm at rank 25, I will try to reach a higher position before the season ends.
Before the race, I claimed 97.99 fuel that my two epic cards generated in the Auto Vault.
Now, I've replaced my previous epic cards with my new cards that generate the most fuel, the epic Reinforged Body, which generates 11.9 fuel, and the Celestial Thrust, which generates 42.5 fuel per hour. With both, I will generate 54.4 fuel every 24 hours, much more than before.
Since I have more cards equipped on my car that improve its stats, my car fuel's consumption has increased, so I need to get more scripts, which is necessary to stake more cards, which generate fuel. I got lucky opening my first pack, but I will opening more because I want the legendary car or a golden card, preferably of higher rarity, of course. I hope I have much better luck opening my next pack :D . That's all for now guys, take care.
