Buying COLONY tokens using the Market DCA feature on DSWAP.TRADE

Dswap.Trade the new platform to trade your Hive tokens for others of your choise, is gradually gaining popularity. Currently, in addition to the Swap feature, which other platforms also offer, on Dswap you can also use the Market DCA, Pools DCA, and last but not least, become a Market Maker, the latter feature costs 100 BEE.

This time I will be using the Market DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) feature on Dswap.Trade, which allows me to place orders at regular intervals, every minute, hour, day, week or moth, rather than placing a large trade using the swap feature or buying the token directly from the market.

This time, I will be buying Colony tokens for a total amount of 10 Swap.Hive, this will happen every 8 hours, 4 times. So, I will receive X amount of colony tokens every 8 hours for 2.5 swap.hive. At the time of writing this post, the price of Hive has dropped slightly since yesterday, currently 1 hive is worth $0.211.

I decided to choose Colony, which is the Arcade Colony Governance token, as it will help me increase my colony multiplier, so when I play Moonkarts races, I will get more colony tokens, and of course, Colony will also help in other Arcade Colony games.

I press the Start DCA button, then a pop-up window appears to verify that everything is in order and then Proceed.

Done, in the next 8 hours I will receive my first order of Colony tokens.

On the other hand, if I had decided to SWAP the same amount of Hive for Colony, I would have received around 7700 Colony. Not bad, but I wanted to try something different, so this time I opted for Market DCA.

When all four Colony token orders are completed, I will check to see if using the Market DCA feature, will grant more or less Colony tokens that using the swap feature. I will let you know in my next post about Dswap. If it proves beneficial, I will use the Market DCA feature more instead of using the swap feature or purchasing tokens directly from the Hive Engine market. That's all for now guys, take care.
