Buying Colony and adding liquidity to the SWAP.HIVE/COLONY pool - APR: 34.74%

After learning what a liquidity pool is, it's time to put it into practice. So, this time, I decided to add liquidity to the Colony/Swap Hive pool. To do this, I need to add the same amount of value of both tokens, so in this case I want to add 10 Swap.Hive to the Swap.Hive/Colony pool, so I will also need 7406 colony tokens (worth 10 hive).

Since I had all my colony tokens staked in Arcade Colony, I needed to buy some first. So, I decided to swap 11 hive to get 8130 colony tokens. I did it in Tribaldex, in the Swap tab, pretty easy and fast.

Now that I have enough Colony tokens, I will add liquidity to the Swap.Hive/Colony pool, so I will add 10 Swap.Hive and 7406.485 Colony tokens.

Done, this now makes me a liquidity provider for the Swap.Hive/Colony pool, which is pretty cool. I'm currently in position 52, which gives me a humble 0.042% of daily rewards from the fees generated when users swap hive for colony tokens.

Colony tokens help earn rewards from playing in Arcade Colony games, such as the popular Moonkarts and soon Stake House Den, as well as future games on the platform. I think it will great, that's why I decided to provide liquidity to the Swap.Hive/Colony pool so I can earn some colony rewards. Currently, my sharing reward is low, but it's good to start with a small amount to see how it goes. That's all for now guys, take care.
